Hi, I asked many people on the server and they didn't know so I am asking here and now, theres a random spawn of slave watchers (randomly spawned in south/east/west north of hotan by joymax), now how long is it gonna last for cause I am getting annoyed by it, I know it kills the gold bots and all but I am a legit player and I can't get to my training places either, when I try to go to my training place through one of the gates that doesn't have Slave Watchers on it then I usually get killed by them on my way to my training spot, either way I am dead, even if I get to my training spot the amount of deaths I get before I get there is a loose of % same as I didn't even go there and I loose money so there is no sense in trying. Now how long is it gonna go for? Because I am planning on making a new character and I don't know if I should start making chars on a different server or stay on Hera, does anyone know how long is it gonna last for?

It lasts until someone kills the slave watchers. They get spawned by Hotan because there's people that have a quest that makes them spawn (people use to kill bots), just wait till there dead or try to avoid them the best you can.

Don't switch servers because if that little problem.

You have one entrance free and you cannot get to your training spot?

You think its little when you get killed 10 times in a row and cant get the xp back unless u have no life? I am running out of my nerves cause of it!
The slave watchers are there 24/7 and I heard it is joymax that does that!
if people could spawn them it would be always on all the servers spawned, it is joymax and when is it gonna end cause if its not then I am quitting silkroad!

It kills the goldbots... if they keep it up for a couple of weeks, the goldbot companies might move... wouldn't that be better than quiting?

Ask a high level to go out there and kill them for you. Or atleast protect you.

why are you so pissed. it sounds like your just getting a free plvl by a bot. are you even playing the game anymore?

I am pissed off, and I am playing the game, but I am trying to get taxi because I can't lvl up by myself (meaning I loose lots of % by getting to my training place after i go to town for supplies)
So I try to get free taxi so I don't have to go back to town.

you could go dw-> hotan spot
if euro go stealth/invisible

or just try using horse+speed pot and run away while it is busy killing other people

I am chineese and from DW to Hotan spot I got like 30minutes on horse

donwang west gate has em too now, but it isn't joymax doing this I have seen three times already a character with random names going into invis. I just use invis best option for me, but most of the times the west bridge is cleared of them and you can enter through there.

Btw it doesn't kill any bots or goldbots ( no one goes through any entrance other then the west one ) bungwangs don't have 1 goldbot atm xD

I still don't get how you die if you take an exit without slave watchers...as long as you don't come near the gates with them you won't die O_o atleast not by them lolz

Well I just joined Apollo a few days ago and these Slave Watchers are everywhere, even at Karakom entrance.

cause using them like that is apparently getting you killed by the slave watchers. try one of the many suggestions we gave

If you can leave Hotan to get powerleveled by goldbot, you can leave Hotan to grind yourself.
Why dont you start from DW, instead QQing in this forum?

go SOUTH GATE, head thru mugigi's to ishades and up thru that passage.... (if ur grinding maongs or buns no problem, dont even see them)

if they are at south.
(west gate. ull avoid them. or east. they wont be that many to run away over there...)

I don't think JM cares, cause I saw the wiz who spawned the watchers (my servers still new so slave watchers are on all Hotan gates so I gotta just wait for a while) and all of them are random named wiz wearing the same thing. If JM really cared they would just get 1 gm on and ban all the goldbots that are repotting in Hotan.

i kno what u mean mate.. its simple and not hard work... all we need is 1 hard hit servers. then people will get scared and then just increase the gm activity a lil bit more

In his defence, there isnt one free gate in Hotan.
West USED to be the available gate to get free. But it seems a new wizard now whores that gate too.

So, like we suggested mate, there is some other options, please try them. We cant help you any further.

True there are no free gates, my last alternative now is go from dw or smarkand, so thanks for the reply, and thanks to other people for "not caring, and posting" good luck getting your post count up Penfold

If you used your head a little bit more, just a little bit you would understand a simple fact that I loose % before I leave town. And taxing isnt wasting any pots or arrows so I don't have to go back to town and loose the % again. QQing? I thought it was the section to ask questions, and the thread changed into something like a fight. Man, seriously, get laid.

Its not like its gonna stop bots, they are probably gonna find something and do the same as I am doing now so its not likes we can put a stop to this for ever. But oh well thx for help. T/C

So, you can leave town to get taxied, but you cannot leave it to grind yourself?

So are the Slave Watchers soul purposes to kill bots?
I ran in to them just a couple of minutes ago near the Ladons
Didn't really notice them till they pwned me and my transport
...freaky buggers might I add...
Annoyed at first trying to get to Cerberus however I found another way around
sucked it up and took the longer rout around
Honestly they only took 2% off each time I died and you would have to be stupid to try running through them countless times.
They are made to kill that is what they do bot or not.
Overall if it gets rid of bots I could care less if they kill me here and there on occasion.
