Question about shared party

How long can one char be away from another in order to gain xp?
When the chars are near, their party portraits are normal and chars share xp. When they are mid-far, they become transparently blue and chars still share xp. When they are too far, they are (almost) totally blue, and the shared experience breaks. At what distance (measured in coordinates) does the portrait become totally blue? I need exact info, cuz I'm making a calculation which will be published later, if true.

When it is just blue you still get exp. I don't know the excact coörds though.
Btw, why is there a Euro with a Chinese sun shield in you sig? O_o PK2 I guess? xD

Yeah. I hated female garment deg9, so I edited it. Nothing else is pk2 though. I loved those shields. BR 22 both.
So no one can answer me? Seems like I gotta research myself. God damn it.

and no, FYI you still get exp when there faces are blue.
