Re: bow int or bow str
Str. It helps make up for bow not having glavies HP bonuses or blades shield.
Go pach/cold/light for PvE ownage and pacheon/cold/fire for pvp ownage. I'd take the second one if I were you.
Your imbue will be stronger as an int bow. Since imbues are based on your mag attack. While your bow skills will be slightly weaker since the skills are based on your str attack.
But over all you'll do better constant damage as an int. Although you miss out on a pure str's awesome crits.

Int all the way. The constant higher attack from being full int will be higher than sporadic crits from str, and with 100 cold def + snow shield you won't have problems.
I dont' see why people still say str is better because of crit and def...

Re: bow int or bow str
Dyegov does make a point...if you compare bow to the other weapons, you'll see it's more of a hybrid weapon, since it's in between glaive and blade in phy attk pwr and spear and sword in mag attk pwr.
Max Phy Attk Pwr:
Glave lv98, npc +0 ~ 1795
Bow lv98, npc +0 ~ 1628
Blade lv98, npc +0 ~ 1605
Max Mag Attk Pwr:
Spear lv98, npc +0 ~ 2871
Bow lv98, npc +0 ~ 2605
Sword lv98, npc +0 ~ 2569
People simply state that bow should be str because of the crit increase....the stats show that it can be str hybrid and benefit from the crits more (as from the higher mag attk pwr), or go int and benefit from the "selected" imbue the most.
As an int bow, you'll have disadvantages until, at least, you get your first knockback (only to rely on your snow and phantom, whereas the str'd only rely on their hp / phantom (if skilled) until then)....

I'm a fan of INT, because I do like the over all higher dmg. I dont like to have to rely on crits. The faster lvling isnt bad either haha
