Hi,

Im a lvl 100 xbow/cleric with a +8 xbow and i just cant get trough a bower's firewall. Sometimes i use cleric rod and give 3-4 normal hits to make it go off coz it's rly hard to kill him with firewall but that just looks lame

Are there any ways to make firewall go off in a faster, less noobish way?

I'm afraid there is no way nowdays except wanding it with Cleric rod.

Maybe you could add 1 cleric magic att, it will do a lot of dmg on a fire wall since it has no def.

i already tried with those aboluste attacks, they make 12k and 11k dmg but it doesnt go off. Maybe when i use normal cleric attacks yeh, but i dont feel like maxing justice cross to test it out. If anyone feels like doing it, they can always try and let us know here

Ya absolute dmg doesn't work on fire wall it's not a phy nor mag att. but I think that a mag att from cleric maxed should do the trick.

i got justice cross lvl 5 and heavenly rage at 48% increase now and i make 4,4k dmg with it. Last Firewall got 11400 hp so i'll never make that. I also took offering lvl 1 tough (the lvl 40 one) and i made 16k with it so it took firewall off, but that's kinda risky to use in pvp

Any more ideas?

um, doesnt xbow have longer range than bow? or has bow caught up?
you could try poison imbue, im not positive about this but meh, cant hurt to try

Only distance shot has a bigger range then bow and the poison doesnt work... Keep em coming

i guess i hit around 20-25k with distance and xtreme. -Bbut the thing is, once the bower sees u put xtreme he'll cancel firewall and come for u

There, you solved your problem, just turn off XE, pot up fast with HP pot & vigor if he cancels firewall
If he doesnt cancel his firewall, you can try critting him, if you hit 20-25k with XE, crit would be gg.

Most won't cancel firewall on the first hit.

Just stay out of range, use distance shot with CE on and one crit they're dead. If they cancel the wall switch to cleric rod and put healing cycle on yourself, and continue to PvP normally.

too bad warrior doesn't have this option.. they either have to run out of range and wait or break it with cleric rod common attacks

This. It's not worth the effort to actually destroy the firewall.

the cleric nukes may work, but you'll have to spend a good amount of sp on getting justice cross and other cross

i hit 4,5k with lvl 80 justice cross and trial/justice cooldown are linked.

I guess i'll just stick with the staying out of range thing.
