I was looking at some screenshots of trade runs and noticed that people had 5 star trades and the value of their trade items were 59k gold.

When these are resold, what is the profit made from it?

Those pics are from before the euro update, because now a 5* trade costs about 1m gold. The last time I traded (in fact, the last time I played iSRO) was months ago, so I can't say any real numbers, but the profit is somewhere between 100-200% I guess.

i think you can make around 70k from a 1 star, havent had the balls to do any higher with the fear of a 10d thief owning the crap out of me =X

That is all? Only between 1m-3m profit? That doesn't seem worth the time.

If the economy wouldn't be inflated to the shit state it is in, it would be worth it.

But even so, at level 42, just grinding for a few hours and selling the drops earns me more money then a 5 star trade run. Not to mention (and I don't condone this), companies are selling 10M gold for less than a dollar.

That is the problem. As for the grinding part, you can finish a 5* trade in 40-50 minutes if you know what you're doing. If by few hours you mean 2, that is already 100% more money than what you would get with the same amount of grinding.

5* profit depends on where you are doing it. Like Dong->Jangan is like 200% profit. Samk.-> Const. is around 300% profit! I dunno about the rest. Also it is easier to get like 2-3 hunters and do a trade run if your lvl 50 or less then grind! Also when you get into Hotan the GoldBots always ks you and gold is harder to get.

its easiest just to rob the the trades. quick profit at no loss.

A full lv20(or30) camel with 5* gives around 1mill profit.

Depends on, my server has more hunters then traders and thiefs. If anyone robs a trade, be prepared to get jumped on by hunters

level cap is 100, 10D if you didn't know. 9D sun isn't worth a bil anymore unless it has an outrageous +

Buying gold is not a must to advance in this game, lmao. At the beginning of 100 cap I had 1bil - the most I had a few weeks ago was 3.5bil. Easy to make money from just pimping drops. Lower levels can play the market to make easy gold. Start small.. cheap elixirs, resell higher.
last tier garment clean for under 6m? It happens, buy it. Sell higher, up to 3x of what you bought it for.

onto the original post... with the current iSRO economy trading isn't about making a profit. The only reason to trade is to have some fun with it.

on my lvl 45 cammel i make 950k out of 4 star and 1.2m out of 5 star..i never make it though..nuker and wizard theivs are always their..so yea ur right fighitng monsters for good drops is way better..even if it takes 3 more hours than a trade.

with special goods u could make around 3+ mill i think from jan to cons with a full fire bull
