i have created a new character with wizard/bard build, where should the stats go to? int or str?
plz giv me advice.

euros are meant to be pure str or pure int, depending on their weapon
(weapons have either phys or mag damage, but never both)
hybrids work too, but arent very effective

wizard is always int since you have to concentrate on dealing highest daamge:
either the monster dies in 1-2 hits or you do

but without str you would die very easily

wizards do NOT use str. period. end of discussion. you have to choose between high damage and lots of life.

if you want to LIVE long. make a Pure STR character.
if you want to deal LOTS of damage make a pure INT character.

do not go hybrid.

wizards and warlocks are pure int characters.
warriors and rogues are pure str characters. from here you can make a lot of combinations.

Your right that a wizard won't use it for damage. However, wizards will use it for less damage + more hp. I put a few levels of str on my wizard and I wouldn't take it back for the world. The extra hp definitely outweighs losing some damage.

No son, it doesnt.

point of a wizard is to do the max possible damage. you rely on ur party to live. if you make a wizard, dont add str.

So you made a perfect character your first time around? I know I didn't, luckily euro wasn't out when I started playing so it didn't matter at all where I put my stats.

u should save these redundant comments to yourself if they are not helpful. no one is perfect.

as many here have said about wizards, i have to agree that all of your points should go to INT.

what you can do to have more HP though is adding blues to your gear, you could do it yourself, or buy some, but it can get expensive. Vigor Grains always helps.

yea lolz who voted str hahaa lmao, and int for wizards/bards , with good weapon u can 1 hit regular mobs and even defeat parties and giants in 5 hits with frostbitten
