Well, farming is the process of which people open op a 9 gap and farm a ton of SP.
A 9 gap is the difference between your level and your highest skill mastery level. For instance, if your level 60 and your highest mastery skills are at level 51 that is a 9 gap.
Why 9 gap? Because this yields the maximum amount of sp possibly. Anything less or more won't give you the maximum amount of sp that that you could be getting.
So for you I'd raise all my mastery's to level 60 to get the new nukes and then open up a 9 gap and farm. So when your level 69 you'll have a 9 gap.

Kill mobs within 3 levels of you. Either 3 levels higher or 3 levels lower. Since your a wiz you'll probably want to kill mobs 3 levels lower then you.

When you kill a monster you receive HP and SP from the kill but those amounts are not fixed. You can shift it to more HP or more SP by using a gap.
A gap is the difference between your level and your highest mastery. Let's say that you are level 20 and your highest mastery is 18, you have a gap 2.
The funny thing is that whith a higher gap you get more SP and less XP from a killed monster.
Sooner or later all builds run short of sp so gapping is a popular way to gain more sp. Farming is pushing it at highest level and work with a 9 gap.
It's up to you to make out what mobs you are able to kill. It depends of your build, your equipment, the blues on your equipment, the + level.
As wizzard I should say, don't aim too high, stay in a range that you are not killed too often. And don't forget, the best defense of a wizzard is his attack. Don't try to tank stuff.
