Not sro q !

Sorry but this question not about sro but u ppl had answered all my questions so i hope u may help me out here to :)
I would like to study linux windows i would like to know maybe there is a book or website where i can know everything about them i heard there is windows language and staf :)

Er, what? Did you mean you wanted to study Linux, or study Windows?

Linux is easy, go grab Ubuntu or something, google LiveCD. That'll let you run it off the CD and install it to a flashdrive or something. From that point forward you can learn a lot about it.

Some things you'll need to know:
sudo (or root)
file permissions (hope you like numbers)
device drivers for networking/wireless
SAMBA (if you want to access Windows shares)
lpr or cups
video driver installs are different in Linux

So i will have to install the linux ?? AND i would like to know because i heard there is a lot of tricks about them bet u have to know about them so my Dads friend recommended to me to learn everything about computers :) starting from linux going to vista :wink: Thx :wink:
