Noob question, only been playing a few weeks.

I'm assuming these are de-valued since there's no bonus like garments or protectors.. do any of the more experienced players even use armor? At the same time do garments command more of a premium when stalling?

Yeah, people don't wear armor most of the time because it offers no bonus. Experienced players don't use it either.
More of a premium when stalling? I'm not sure what you mean by that.

premium in value - as in, I can get more money for garments.. vs. less money for just regular armor.

just garms+prot....

Used to see alot of people using it at 80 cap..especially when takla opened and all the ints were screwed >< xD

:\ ints had it good at 80 cap, snipers are passive and mages do low damage to them.. it was worse at 90 cap because rockies hit anything hard, and even worse for ints at 100 o.O all agressive.. lots of statues, mostly phy but some are phy / mag

yeah but it didn't stop them from all thinking they was rambo was lord spawned with his 100 snipers around him

i can typically sell them for about the same price, but it takes a long time to sell armor, only a handfull use them. One of the few i saw wearing told me it was simply cause it looked the coolest, and ya gota give him that no sense in killing people if you can't look good doing it.

European heavy armor still sell, kinda stops demand at d9 though, idk with tomb physical mobs might be popular grind spots again so heavy might be fine again for those more concerned with grinding.

Heavy Armor is preferred on Uranus for Warriors. Only a handful use LA or Robes. Armor is pretty much non existent.

The only time I saw anyone using armor lately was on Venus cuz there's like 2 sets of full 9d Sun Armor and a bunch of random pieces around. I suppose its better their cuz theres a lot of Warriors on Venus compared to other servers.

in the [Ares] server, i dont see one person without armor. i havent played on othe servers yet though, so i cant give you an honest answer.

Armour is still heavily used on Eos by all levels but I know that in parties warriors prefer by far going on gens than on shamans or roc mobs. It has to do with the fact that armour gives very good protection against physical attacks but don't protect from magical attacks. Normally in a party we go on the mob that the tanker prefers.

are most of the new cave mobs physical attackers? cos if they are, ppl might start using armour more. My choice is still garms because i have 0 light so im incredibly slow. and honestly the physical defence from armour wasn't tht useful for me anyway.

I use armor and I'm hybrid int build.
I switched over from garm to armor when I was 6D because people were telling me it was better in pvp, but I don't see any noticeable difference. I take just as much damage and I move 20% slower and use 20% more mp pots.

Switch back to garment then

yup, had a pretty similiar experience when i switched to armor.
