Hey guys, i dont know whether to make a wizard or warlock for the 100 cap, but i know i want to have sub cleric.

I like to kill fast, but I think wizard dies a little too often in pvp. Is there a solution to this or do you recommend going warlock?

Well I have played with both with cleric sub. I preferred warlock because it has funny PvP skill, for example Slumber and Daze and then it has got DoT (damage over time) spells like Toxin and Decayed so they are nice in PvP and quite good in PvE also, Cleric sub is good because have buffs which Warlock haven't got. Warlock also won't die so easily as wizard because of the shield.

warlock is much stronger,but they need a lot of work and farming,

Thx guys. I think the only thing stopping me from 100% wanting to make a warlock is the satisfaction you get from 1 hitting someone with meteor from wizard

The more dmg you do, the more dmg you take.
The less dmg you do, the less dmg you take.
Wizard: fast kill, fast dead.
1h sword: slow kill, slow dead.

invisible teleport, meteor is always fun

warlocks is basicly the euro s/s nuker, awesome solo, awesome party, good pvp

wizards are fun though just blowing stuff up, sure you kill with just as many skills as warlock but watching it die now is nice, of course with out a team wizards are basicly hit first or die

wizards are also better at powerlevels, though locks are still up to the task

Group pvp?
Jobbing?

1vs1 = warlock
Group= Both
Jobbing= Wizard as a hunter for mass kill spawns but Warlock for killing a human
Fortwar= Both

warlock take lot of sp..anyway wizzard needs too..so take what u like...wizzad can be good at pvp if u learn to play with it..especially a cleric sub one..

warlock is alot of fun to play but requires a shit load of sp
dont know for wizz because i dont have one

My sister had wizard and, well she was lvl 35 wizz and even if kokoru (level 31 mob) hits one critical on wizard (with life control spell on)= Certain Death

Yeah, i currently have a level 65 wizz with full blue +3 set and sos shoulder and i can stand 2 hits from Black Eagles (Level 72) But at lower levels, they have awful defense

Normal hits or Critical ones?

Themage your sister should be 1 hitting those kokorus if shes lvl 35 and has lc or w/e its called haven't played a wizard in awhile lol. But unless there giants then she shouldn't get owned.

Yea... She kills them at 1 shot but Giants and partys are quite hard and as you know wizards arn't very fast so if kokuru just can hit one time before sister casts spell it may be death. but as Wizzy7 said:

They realy have bad defense at low levels and my sister didn't have SoS, SoM or SoSun, just few +1 or +2.

where did you get the 1h warrior?

warlock is an euro int build able to tank, wizz can't.
wizz has AOE, if you know the build it's faster levellling than with lock.

Wizz is very good in trades for killing NPC thief spawning and in taxis. PVP it's worthless.

Kokorus/Periton are the fastest mobs , better let your sister go at ongs.

Back to the thread: I played both warlock and wiz and IMO warlock is much much more better. a Wizzard 1 hits a mob but a warlock sets some DoT on a mob and when hes at the third mob , the first died so it's almost the same as wiz. Whatever someone said, in every way possible warlock needs much more sp than wizzard.But its all worth it. Just find a good legit guild and farm with 4 gap and at the later lvls 80+ u just farm the rest of sp...

Giants are easy, even at low lvls.
I remember a lv24 guy(just a +2 staff if I remember, he never got it to +3 xD) and he only died from a giant crab if he got a critical hit on him..
BUT he used Fear & the other skills =)
