what makes a good 8/8 pt?

for euro or chinese?
chinese = throw a bunch of char.'s in there and let them go at it. its cool if you have like 4 bladers/4 bich nukers cause then everyone can stab PT giant's when they're kd'd. and 32 stabs on pt giant = a lot of damage. lol.
euros = strategy. somebody else explain this please.

there is many good combos for euro parties
here is a good low to mid lvl 30-50

2 warrior
2 cleric
2 wizard
1 bard
1 warlock

substitutes
can use rogue for one wizard or bard or warlock
or use another wizard for bard or warlock

Short:
A good euro party is one with a good balance of tankers, healers/buffers & nukers.

you want 2 bards.
one for guard.
one for dance...

If u can get two bards, tht rocks. Warlock aint the most popular in parties either even tho they are pretty useful.

one-handed warrior: 1
warlock: 1
wizard: 3
bard: 2
cleric: 1

or a very unique party:

crossbow rogue: 8

this way you can (after level 40) all KD the monster and then use the KB skills. mobs will kinda never reach you.

Yep best Euro pty, what also helpfull is that a bunch of them have bless so u can have constant bless on your party, needs some practice tho.

4 casters, 3 buffers, 1 tanker?
U definately want 2 warriors. 1 1h warrior will never keep the mobs' attention.
3 casters, 3 buffers & 2 tankers is the best combination imo.

yes.

Make sure the average levels of all the players in the party are equal or less than the level of mobs you are fighting. This will get you 100% exp/sp bonus from all party mobs.

Euro parties depend on your level. Early levels (i.e.) below 20 you only really need one tank, and one cleric. The rest can be any build. After 30 you're going to want to specialize:

2 warriors
1 cleric
3 wizards
2 bards

keep going like that until you reach 60~70, remove one wizard and add a warlock:

2 warriors
1 cleric
2 bards
2 wizards
1 warlock

In the original party format you stand still to kill; in the final format everyone moves around more often. PM Gaurdia for a video example.

Some people claim the following as a better alternative:
1 warrior
1 cleric
2 bards
2 wizards
1 warlock
1 rogue

there they subtract a warrior for a rogue. Idk how well that works.

How about Chinese partys?

one thing people forget is that the party system is made more useful by the combo of euro players and skills they bring to the party
before the euro update party play was not a well used factor of game play, it was more solo training then anything else
after euro the value of party play came to be seen as it should
now the party is a valuable thing to be in, even in any combo you can get, even an all chinese party is better than solo training
plus the comradarie of being in a group makes the game much more enjoyable for most, even if you are not chat oriented
