Ok so today my friend and I were trading for the first time from downhwang to jangan well we were doing good and all until one of us died this thief guy picked up r crap and we quickly started to attack him and we almost had him but he did his stealth shit or w/e, cant you only use stealth when ur not being attacked?

yes. but it takes around 15 seconds before one goes stealth. When he attacks, stealth is gone.
