Constant FREE EXP + FREE ITEMS party offers

I see a constant rise of people either in town or outside of town offering me free xp + free items party. when i am in town and ask them why they do that they do not answer. maybe they are bots but that is just a sheer speculation from my side. i can click that away but it really starts to annoy me. any idea why they do it? i understand that outside the town it might help to spawn MP mobs but in town?!

p.s.: what also buggers me are playes trying to sell me things during grinding outside the town. i dont want to do that because i believe there is a quite high chance of being scammed. how safe is it to buy such an item? i was asked through the exchange.

Are you talking about EXP and Item Free-For-All parties? Bots are set up so that they are able to invite anyone they happen to pass by, whether it's inside the town or outside of it. This is so that they can quickly accumulate a full LTP for effective 24/7 grinding.

To answer your question about buying outside of town: It really doesn't matter. Just keep your eyes open and you'll be 100% safe from scammers.

i think he may be talking about the goldbot parties. There are a lot of goldbots who will join u to their party, probably to spawn party mobs. U can sometimes invite them to ur own party urselves too. Honestly i don't really get wat u mean by Free exp + Free items. If u mean free-for-all, then yes, they're bots trying to fill up their LTP.

i have seen discussion in other forums where people claim to be having running up to TEN bots on one pc in a party 24/7. they do it because they get double exp in such a party. ive seen such partys around hotan, bots named xxxxba, xxxxbg, xxxxbh, xxxxbj and so on. 10 freaking slots for one person 24 hours a day, omg, that prevents around 200 people a day to logon for normal gameplay (like 2 hours a day) just for ONE person with bots.

i have forgotten to renew my premium account and because of such ruthless pricks i had to wake up at 5am to logon into silkroad, because otherwise it is near to impossible to log on. this is ruthless beyond any belief. the people claim they do it because they find grinding boring and they want to level up to their chars to level 90 where they will do fortress wars and pvp, which is according to them much much much more entertraining than grinding. funny is that these people trade with their chars and get most of the times scammed, many times from real money (there are endless threads on that forum full of threats and accusations)
