Im wondering what it means.
Also, are there any other reasons why most Bows go hybrid, aside from the fact that you get more dmg from your imbue?
Following up the imbue point- won't the bow hybrid suffer a similar dmg loss through the phy balance thing?
Does investing in INT give more damage, or is it more advisable to go pure STR?
70:70?

70:70 means naked mag/phy bal:naked mag/phy bal
most bows go pure str..although i prefer a heavy hybrid bow as the build u suggested...pure strs have low base dmg but nice crit dmg...more hybrid u go (more int)...the higher ur base dmg is..but ur crits will be "lower," u may hit 90% of the dmg of a pure str's crit
i dont know if that makes sense or not but basically >>>IMO<<< heavy hybrid bows are better than pure str bows since u gain base dmg and lose a small amount of dmg on crits compared to a pure str...that loss of dmg will be made up by the higher base dmg (w/o crits)
if that was any better of an explanation <.<?
and if you go hybrid imo u should go with this build 90 pacheon/90 fire/60 cold/60 light or 72 cold/48 light and for 100 cap 100 pacheon/100 fire/60 cold/40 light
of course fire being the imbue...
Re: 70:70?
STR Bows are often better at end-game. Hybrids have a lower critical rate, but higher stable damage. Crits are usually what wins you a fight, though. Another advantage of hybrids is that they can choose to invest in Snow Shield for extra tanking.

Take off all your equips and recheck your Phys. & Mag. balances. You'll find that you're too heavily STR-balanced already. In any case, if you're somehow close to 70:70, add INT until you reach it. I don't think you're able to pull it up until somewhere in the 80's, though...

so, its more advisable to continue going hybrid? Or should i just add str all the way?

What are your balances right now? I doubt they are anywhere close to 70:70, though. So, sticking with the same character, just go pure STR from here on out. On the other hand, if you really want to be a hybrid, then just start a new character. Level 38 isn't too hard to get to...
