What is the point of this item?
As far as i understand i do not need it to find Ivy, so why do i have it?

It's for repearing your set. It's a repair scroll. That is if i remeber correctly what u r asking about

This is what the item description says:

Quest item.

1. Can be used by party leaders only at corresponding areas.
2. Can be used to meet Ivy even if not party leader.



I know the item you speak of, that is from a Chinese quest, i forget which one. But i got this from finishing the Ivy 1 quest.

My mistake then... done this like 1 year and more ago... so...

also this item can be used out in the field to repair all your gear, instead having to return to town to repair damaged gear

So... i was right... or i wasn't.... i feel confused

you get 5 from the ivy1 quest
it's like going to blacksmith and repair all your items ( but you can be at grinding and use this scroll if an item is damaged)

the description is a misprint, and since we know joymax doesn't proof read anything, they probally don't even know its description is completely wrong but it is just a repair scroll
