Well first off I would like to say hi to everyone as I am new.

Questions:

1)Since im a rogue dagger pure str, would it be smart to buy a wolf to help me fight or no?

2)Were it shows my location on the left, how do I change it to what server I play on?

As you fixed the number2. I will give my opinion about the first one:

It is totally up to you. Having an attacking pet is sometimes cool when you are getting KSed by another player if your wolf makes the last hit you get the kill. If you can't decide just buy a wolf from stable keeper. I would not suggest you to buy any attacking pet with silk as only differ by their look, no extra advantages.

My opinion is that you can always take a wolf and it will always help you. It has pretty good HP and can take a mob off you when needed. Specially when soloing.

Get wolf. If you are killing gp and some1 ks you, you get more xp when wolf is attacking too

The Wolf is Very Handy Since Euro's Lose Hp Quite Fast. ^_~

I guess im going to start saving up for wolf, as im only level like 13? Lol.

Yeah it took me a while to get that first wolf... I thought I was never going to hit 1 mil, but I had a few good friends who helped me out. Now I probably have like 10 wolfs spread out over Babel and Pluto haha.

As an answer to your first question, go up to your profile, then click on profile, then where it says Location, type in the server. That's all there is to it.

get a wolf if u have the money. Otherwise u don't need it. I honestly don't use my wolf anymore, it's only lvl56 and been in my storage for months

Hey.. Don't forget to train your wolf when u first buy it. I don't know when will you be able to save enough gold but lets say you get enough gold when you are at 25 lvl, your wolf will be 1 lvl. Don't take him directly to 25 lvl mobs rofl. Or it will die pretty fast and to resurrect it you have to buy "Grass of life" from stablekeeper which costs you 50k every time you buy.

So every death of your wolf = 50 000 gold.

You need to powerlevel him. You can kill 3-4 lvl higher mobs than your pet's level. To make the process faster you can buy "Potion of Growth" from Item Mall ( in Pet > Pet Items section) for 2 silks (0.20 usd). It is active for 30 minutes though. And don't forget to buy "Recovery kit" for recovering it's hp and "HGP recovery potion" to recover your pets starvation. If your pets HP or HGP gets to zero it dies! Yes another 50 k gold !

meh, wolf is worthless... waste of a mil for someone who doesn't have money...

I use mine a lot during trades especially to kill the monsters around the horse/camel. I am hunter and wizzard so my own spells are always ready to use when the NPC thieves pop up.

It's very handy for a wizzard if you have two big mobs attacking you at the same time, I send my wolf to bite one of them so that the mob starts attacking my wolf not me. Or if I'm in trouble I run away while my wolf is biting the monster. The monster turns on the wolf and stops hitting me. It's also nice as help for killing giants, I send my wolf on the giant, let him bite a lot of HP off while I continue attacking other mobs and when the HP are lower I kill the giant in maximum 3 hits.

You can also use the wolf as a kind of shield between you and mobs with ranged attack so that the mob attacks the wolf, not you.

When a monster's HP is close to zero I start attacking next mob, my wolf bites the monster down.

They look cute, I'm feeling lonely when my wolf isn't summoned.

I used to have a wolf for every character, was a good thing when I started my euro, but after the ice, the aoe smash from the yetis kept killing her and I haven't used her since. I out grew mine mostly, but I do see people with lvl 90 wolves, just not very often anymore.

I remade my character and leveled it up to lvl 21(was just a cleric) and I bought a wolf but I sold it at level 20 for 2M because it was not very helpful when your buffing people and not attacking.

Nice, yeah wolfs come in very handy in classes like wizzard,bard cuz when u get KS'd bij someone with KD the wolf still can attack the mob when it's KD'd. Whilst I am powerlvling I don't use my wolfs cuz it finishes that mob just when i want to do my AoE , quite annoying
