this game does get addicting with the slightly unique systems and all but most ppl just seem to complain even after bcoming addicts(no offence to any1)

i thnk even dofus is more of 'once in lifetime' game than silkroad

I agree, I believe it is worth it, especially if you play with friends that do not live near to you, so Internet being the only way of frequently communicating. I doubt you'll ever get bored if you play it with friends, it's extremely fun to play while using programs such as TeamSpeak and doing trades or group-related things and talking to them. I usually lmao when doing that (I'm not exactly sure why though). If you play it alone, I doubt you'll last long, especially with all that bots/gold bots and buyers shit.

A lifetime... No. This game is meant to be played for fun. So have fun with it, but don't spend your whole life on this game. There's better things out there to experience.

Lifetime is not your whole life...Well in a way it does, but he/she means it like a hobby you do for your entire life. Not every second of your life hehe.

The ppl that sed NO then what the hell r u dung in this forum I think sro is a grate game to spend maybe 1-2 h a day after it gets boring

Lol use ventrilo dude, it's 50000 times better quality. I do agree with that, I don't see how people would stick with this game long if they were playing alone. Even still, me and the guys I play with can't play this game all the time, have to switch it up with other games.

And to answer the question here, no it is not a lifetime game. Not enough to keep you occupied for more than a couple years. I wish they would stop doing all these "Legend" updates and just make a Silkroad 2 with better graphics and such.

Thanks for the Ventrilo suggestion, and I haven't been playing silkroad for so long: I think almost 2 years or something near that. Though at the "beginning" I created tons of chars so it does not truly count as playing, also I didn't play this game frequently (I used to log on more rarely) and I didn't have friends playing neither. Now I feel like I'll keep playing this game for some time (or as long as I have friends in it), though I may be wrong.

Well, even in that aspect, I think it's a decent game to play but not excessively. No one needs to turn out like one of those WoW kids.

well if you plan on spending 1-2 hrs of the rest of your life on this game +forum good for you...i'll probably leave after wat 2yrs or after my 1st cappd char

Wow, I've been playing this game for almost 3 years now O_O. It feels like a lifetime, but I'm still having fun with this game. If a better game comes along, I can see myself leaving it behind. However, I'd probably still log in periodically just to check how things are doing with the people in there.

I've been playing since 2006, and I still enjoy it. I don't play as much as I used to, but I still have fun when I log in. If I get bored, I either take a break or play something else. Like I said before, I don't think it's worth a "lifetime" because eventually, you'll have responsibilities and you won't have the time to play. (Unless you become a lazy bum and marry someone rich and they pay the bills and do all the house work.)
