i have maybe 10 shield elexyrs and i going to get lvl 42 soon and i would like to make AWESOME shied but i dont know where ro start i asked my friend should i buy from shop and add some stuff to it? he sed no u would just waste elexyrs and i dont know from where to buy shield on which i could spent my elexyrs

Buy a shield from the stall network, normally they are cheaper than the ones you find at NPC vendors, and have better stats. Though with 10 shield elixirs, you are looking at no higher than +3, +4 if you're lucky. But if thats what your satisfied with, then go for it. Make sure to use lucky powders.

But what status should shield have in/str or some anohter ones

You'll have to use stones to change anything besides the +

You'd be better off buying a +3/5 shield from stallnetwork (default 'F' key).

The best characteristic of a shield is the blocking ratio, so try to improve with challenge stones.

I was wrong, it's indeed agility stones, not challenge stones, sry for the mistake. Challenge is changing the weapons crit.

a tip for you and everyone really.

if you are buying a shield just look at the blocking ratio.
unless your 76+ IGNORE all shields with blocking ratio of 15 or under.
anything above 15, buy it if you can! then use shield elixers to + it to +3 or +4 or even +5 (go for +7 if you can afford to do it.)
then add blues. str and int. then whatever else.
