Xbow without subclass

Will this be any good for solo leveling?
Or do I really need a bard or cleric sub?
Because I dont like to farm... and want a nice char able to kill mobs who are about 2 level lower than the charter.

Easily...Bard is handy but not a must, same goes for cleric. Especially if you go for lower lvl mobs.

You will have a lot less chances to win without sub-class in PvP

subclass is a must! if u dont have enough sp to lvl up ure subclass try to farm but dont play without a sub. it helps u alot

xbow is pretty good to go solo. You'll probably have enough SP to level up a sub but not at the same level as the xbow. Try bard as sub, you just need a couple of skills. There are levels in the game that you don't have a new skill nor can level a skill up, it's nice to do a gap at those levels. It will not really slow you down and you'll have more SP.

Actuallly if you want to have a good sub bard you'll need alot of skills from the tree, not as many as cleric/lock but still.

Subclass is very very helpfull, but who ever tell you that you will poor in pvp without it lies. I was only xbow before farming, and I wasnt that much weak in pvp, true I cant compare to now, when I have daggers maxed and cleric skills but it was decent.

Yeah, Sub class is a must imo.
But, try Bard if u want. The sp invested is not too much, so its better than no have a sub-class. d:

You will do fine grinding. I reccomend you take a subclass eventually. It makes a huge difference in PvP, but PvE...meh.
I say keep bard 10 or 20 levels below you, just for moving march.
Speed=leveling faster =P
