Halloween Event Avatar Item exchange

I haven't gotten one yet, but from what I've read you cannot exchange the avatar items via the exchange action. What I want to know is can you drop one and have someone else pick it up? Or can you use guild storage to exchange among guild members.

someone offered to trade me a female part for cash or male exchange
i didnt want or have any to exchange so dont know if its possible to exchange, but according to our joy max rulers its not
