I basically have a few questions about the new alchemy system. I'm quite new to SRO, so I am not that well aquainted with the old stuff too.

1. So I found a tablet today. It says, that if the fusing is a success than my item will have a blocking rate. So if I fuse it with my spear, than I will be able to block with my spear? (btw: isn't that a bit odd - I mean that shield will become completely useless now...)

2. Do such tablets drop only from monsters or is it able to create them through alchemy? If yes than go to the next question.

3. What are elements for? So I disjointed many things by means of the void rondo and I got a lot of them (different lvls). Are they of any use, or should I just sell them? Perhaps you can make tablets with them?

I guess that's about all for now

1: no - its the chance that someone with a shield will not be able to block your shots, not the other way around. Either that or it's to up the shield br, dunno hehe

2: only monsters

3:from my understanding, tablets have certain requirements of elements. so tablet+element = stone. You fuse the stone with your weapon or whatnot and if it works, it puts the status on whatever the tablet was.

we still need a reply on that issue of the block rate on a spear

based on what tablet he has, it's either the one that ups the br of a shield or prevents block

It's not block rate, it's block parry rate, which means the higher the number is, the less likely the spear's attacks will be blocked by an enemy.
