i was hunting in the middle of forest of dusk and i see a siren so im like wtf?!??! i go kill it and i fing a load of mobs that are not supposed to be there.
i play on server uranus this happened on 22 october 2008

cerberus is a unique spawn (or boss if you want)
these uniques spawn at random times and bring with them a bunch of other mobs that are thier posse
if you kill the unique you get your name advertised as killing that unique
they also sometimes drop good items
