cant type at all

some guy took my friends sos item when he died and he wouldnt give it back, so when he died, he also dropped an even better som item
i found it hilarious so i started typing in "haha" for about 3 mins while he was swearing at us
later on, i tried typing but nothing happened and no letters appear
how do i fix this??
pls help, its killing me

Spam filter on your char.. Just wait the 15 sec out?

I've had this happen to me too, basically just backspace and clear all your text out of the chat box, including any symbols (for party, guild, or union) then switch to a differnt chat box (ie: from Global to Party) and you should be able to type. Don't know why this happens, just probably a "feature".
