Questions about dying from a player kill

When I die from a player kill :-

1)a) Do I lose xp on respawn?
b)But I don't lose XP if someone resurrects me?
c)Is there a scroll to resurrect myself?
d)Do I lose the same amount of XP from being player and monster killed....?

2)a) I know there is a chance I will drop an item. Is there any risk of dropping an item from an equipped slot..?

You lose the EXP on death. You regain a small percentage if you are resurrected, but regain none if you respawn in town.

I do believe there are self-res scrolls you can buy from the Item Mall or can be obtained as some quest reward.

You lose the same amount of EXP regardless, if you are under normal state. However, characters performing a job (Trader/Thief/Hunter), or offenders/murderers lose less and more experience per death respectively.

Under normal character state, the chances of dropping something are very, very small. The only thing in your entire inventory you cannot drop is your equipped weapon. Even characters doing jobs have been known to drop their job suit upon death(!!).

Yes there are res scrolls you can use on yourself. You get a couple from a quest (not sure which), and you can buy 60% or 100% ones from the item mall.

I'm confused about how much EXP you lose sometimes. For example I was killed in offender status (purple name) a couple weeks ago and I was level 43. I lost only 27K exp..............

I would have lost 2% to a mob if I died, which would be about 300-something thousand exp.

if killed on a job i have come to see over time that u lose .4% exp if killed by a monster however u lose a little over 2% whole :banghead:

... if killed while a murderer by a person there is a 50% chance u will drop any item out of your inventory (even weps)... as well as losing the normal 2% and 20 sp.. if murderer and killed by a monster u lose 6% can drop an item and lose 60sp (sux i know :cry:

).... but dont worry about the dying thing on jobs... as far as i can remember i have asked ppl what they have lost and its only been pots,pills, and transports so dont be afraid

....looking for my question and this comes to the closest so i think i will bring this up again.

How many exp you lose in a state of offender?

Is it true that people doing jobs will drop only worthless items (Such as job suit and other worthless stuff) and not something expensive like: SOS blade you got from drops/other equips

yeah was wondering round east ferry one time and some dead girl had an item next to her, not thinking of it, i picked it up and carried on my merry way, went to town and saw i had a female trader flag, i was like wtf? when did i get/buy this thing? then i realised it was from her lol sold it w00t w00t
