will i get banned for this(not my fault)

some random guy dropped a couple of lvl 1-5 armor/robes and said its all for free
i thought it might be a scam but i had an autoshare party and a party member picked them up-and 1 of the robes was given to me....
then the guy says that he is using a scamming program and that in half an hour, we will not be able to access our accounts as we will be banned
he also said that if joymax unblock our account, we will never be able to create new characters on any server or use any of our existing ones
it seems like a load of bs to me but i still want to hear from others

joymax ban accounts more than you think.

but the mass bannings rarely happen, ive know plenty of botters (10+) who've been banned, but its never a permanent ban, one of them had a year ban.

Its bullshit, lol once I counter-scammed some on steam funniest shit ever, he added me and he said "steam automated msg ur account blah blah blah please enter ur accouint name and password"

so i said, Hahaha, your not gonna fool me with that shit son, im a steam admin, i said im going to have to report him but then im like ill make it a temporrary ban like 3 monthes hes like YES PLEASE IM SO SORRY, and then im like okay but then im gonna need to know your user and pass to unlock your account after the three monthes, saves me the hassle from looking through the password lists, he gave it to me XD

Scammers can be so funny. There was so much of them like a year ago

Just like guys who came and said "hey, nice sos weapon. You want me to make it +8." Then he invited me to party and it was item share party. Then he goes like 50 meters away from me and tells me to drop it on the ground and pick up it fast and it will get +8.

just two days ago a guy tried to scam me on Persia.
i have a +3 SOS 5D spear.
he said at first he could make it +5.. when i said "Im good"
he said "no i really can for free".. he begged me three more times
but by the last time he said "I'll make it +7"...

noob scammer forgot his own story
