why fire for glavie

why does everybody say that i need to take fire with glavie
what does fire do at the glavie ?

You dont have to take fire mastery for pure str glaive. Most players think its a good idea since selecting fire mastery would maximize the damage dealt by your charachter. Fire has physical damage increase buff and passive, while the other force masteries have mostly defensive (as far as usefulness for a pure str) oriented buffs and passives.

As a pure str, the mag def buff, phy % increase buff and the passive are too good to pass up.

just to get flame body series and ur imbue u got the ho bec u str so u need some damage and the fire is the powerful imbue in the game
