Is it possible to make a weapon +3 without any chance of failure, becuase i think i read somewhere that you can only fail when you go beyond +4.

Can somebody please verify this?

you can fail before +3, in fact I think +1 can fail if you're extremely unlucky

astral only works if your weapon has a +4 on it. If you want to +5 it then it fails, it stays to +4.

I failed to go for +2 when I didn't use lucky powder for it...

So, I think lucky powder is extremely helpful in alchemy!! But it might cost you a lot in D8 >.<''

this morning(iam so depressed atm iam about to shoot myself in the head with a bow)i used 2 mil trying to get my lvl 26 bow to +5 and it failed sigh....even when i used lucky powder
and yes you can fail at +1...trust me i know T.T

it goes back to a +0 if it fails...but if u have astral and your trying to make a wep from +5-+6 and it fails u stay at +5, thats if u have astral on wep.

Is it possible to make a weapon +3 without any chance of THE ITEM BEING DESTROYED, becuase i think i read somewhere that you can only DESTROY YOUR ITEM WHILE UPGRADING when you go beyond +4

so, as far as i know, items dont get destroyed when going to +3.
if you fail, you go to +0
if you succeed, you go one + higher

if you go over +3 or over +4 (not sure anymore which it was) there is also
a chance that your item will be destroyed when you fail. doesnt happen that
often, but it has happened before.

to keep your item from destruction, put immortal on it
if your item is +4 or higher and you want to go higher but dont want your item
to go all the way back to +0, you put astral on it. this will make the
item go back to +4 if you fail. no, it doesnt work with items below +4.

Nope, or Joynax wouldn't be selling so many stones, you can only get em with the other stuff(+ immortal)
