how weak is a?

A pure str blader with only ice imbue and no fire/lit buffs at any level?
Im stuck at choosing fire or cold for an imbue...
i dont wnat to go both, because i am goign hueskal,bichean and cold or fire....+ level 12 lit

With Ice you will not kill anything unless your gear is extremely pimp But with your slowing down bonuses you will rarely die. Grinding becomes tougher since your not hitting as much damage. thats all I could think of considering I've never been a blader.

The difference in damage is slight, but the damage over time (DOT) you get from burn (fire imbue) do add up. So fire imbue will in effect deal more damage, and you can level faster than using ice imbue.

Remember you are pure str, and you are comparing magic damage. Magic damage becomes amplified by your int stat, and being pure str you have minimal int stat. At lower levels, the buffs have very close damage range, so the difference is minimal. At higher levels, your char becomes the limit. You can notice this from your char balance. The more str points you put in your char, the smaller the int balance % becomes. This is a simple indicator of the impact that magic damage will give you. Even though the magic damage range difference between ice and fire imbue becomes greater, they get minimize by your chars inability to fully abuse them.

If you are choosing between ice or fire mastery tree, then pick fire mastery tree for the passive and the buffs (planning ahead for higher levels). The phy damage passive, and phy damage buff increase will have a greater impact on your char rather than the imbue choice.

so.. lets say i went, hueskal,bichean and ice.
Would i be like really really really really weak and un-able to kill anything?
because i really want to go those 3 masteries...
