pet question

ok my friend is buying me a wolf from the npc, to lvl the wolf up, does it mater what lvl i am?

like the higher lvl i am the less xp he gets or, just the matter of what he kills nearest to his/her lvl

edit: what changes in the cubw hen it lvls besides phy damage? does it grow?

No, it doesnt matter what lvl u at. Only the mobs u're killing.

Pet will grow and it grows the most at lvl 40.
