Picture in a sig

i feel dumb asking, but how do i get a picture in my sig, i've tried like a dozen different ways and it just puts out mark up instead of the image

eh i dunno save it as .png or something :S

but....? thats exactly what i have been trying and it still just puts out the text, you may have looked at it when i was trying all sort of ways i could think of, but as you said is exactly what i tried

omg, it seams it doesn't work for bmp, i tried it after changing the picture to jpeg and now it works
