Using skills from 2 masteries at the same time

Hi, I'm only level 9 and I want to know if you're able to...use skills from 2 masteries at the same time! Like for example, can you use fire shield phoenix and weak guard of ice at the same time? Can I use River Fire Force and Ice River Force at the same time? Thanks for the help.

you can use one imbue at a time, but buffs work simultaneusly

So the ones on the shields are imbues, right?

Can you also use 2 different imbues (for a sword and a shield) from the same mastery?

PS: Is speed piercing force a buff or imbue? (that thing is to buff up elemental damage right?)

imbue is the first skill in fire/light/cold masteries so there is no sword or shield imbue, just cold, fire etc. rest of skills which arent attack skills, are buffs. therefore piercing force skill is a buff (to increase mag dmage dealt)

Imbue is the thing that lasts for like 5 secs, makes your weapon glow and
makes you do alot more dmg. There are 3 types: Lightning, Cold, Fire.
Can only be used one at a time.

Buffs are the ones that lasts more than 1min and increase something.
They can be used simultaneusly.
