party mobs exp question

party mobs exp question

While grinding with my euro char in exp auto share pt, I get lots of exp from pt mobs

Tonight I decided to check it with my chinese char. I am grinding at the small monkeys mobs now(im 43lvl) and me and some other guy(same lvl) decided to make an exp auto share pt so pt mobs can spawn. But when I killed a pt mob, I got about 700exp, while a regular one gives me 2k. We dismissed the pt and then I killed a left over pt mob and I got 10k exp. So why do we got that 700exp while in a party?
