Xfire?

hey what exactly is xfire? i know its a thing where ppl chat n stuff but how do i use it lol? am i supposed to add ppl kind of like an msn messenger thing?? or is it for gaming?

Well , Xfire is something like msn but , if u or 1 of ur friends play counter strike or some other FPS game and u have the game installed , u can follow him to the server :-)

It is way to keep track of your friends and know which servers they are on in games

and it has voice chat, u can send files, it also keeps track of how many hours u've been sitting on ur ass in front of the comp.

yeah, as people said, its a messenger, with the functionality of most messengers.

but.... youve left out its main feauture.

it embeds itself into games, instead of having to alt+tab with msn and stuff, xfire opens up inside the game window, so you playing experience dosent get interupted ^_^

oh yeah, the button for that is Scroll lock + X i think it can be changed.

Also u can take ScreenShots, which is then stored in its directory by pressing Scroll lock + S

Just with SR it tends not to want to work, same with other games. Their latest patches have been sloppy
