does anyone know a very good video editor that is free besides windows movie maker. windows movie maker doesnt work very well with fraps videos

1.) Give people more than 7 minutes to post a reply. Someone with video editing experience will eventually come along and help you.
2.) Try using the Search feature. If you still can't find what you're looking for, then post.
3.) Search for Sony Vegas Video Editing on Google.com. There is a free trial you can download and use for at least 30 days.

I use multiquence, it lets you edit videos together great, adds sound, blends clips together with overlays, very cool and basic program.
The thing is though with recorders like fraps the file sizes are massive so after I'm done with multiquence I use dr div-x to recompress it and that does a great job, almost no quality loss at all. I got a 20 minute 4gb file down to just 100mb and it looked just as good.
They're not free though so you may have to look around for some sites, multiquence is actually pretty old now so could take some finding.
