Well.. maybe its possible to edit it in Data.pk2 but you wouldnt want to do that because it may be server side and you can be banned (account and IP), possibly jailed because your illegally editing the game to your gain

So in other words... You can.. but really don't want to do because it will be a cause for banning.. Normally if you don't wanna be banned just changed the appearence of things, not the actual game data.

+1. ppl actually do get banned for pk editing.

as long as it is your client only that sees the changes, you are fine.
if you change the stats of weapons so the whole server will notice
your change in dmg/xp/sp/[gm name]/whatever, you are screwed

No you cant edit your stats actually ingame so you can gain from it.

The only way possible for you to actually gain would be to get into joymax's database and changed the info about you character on it.

If you can do that ... well theres no point really doing that to Joymax because theres far bigger and more worthwhile company's to do it too.

In other words everything we do is appearence.

Lol.. Then how is it people change a lvl 20 camel to have all slots.....If it's whhat your saying, then it only appears to be open.....

But that's wrong because people change it so you can add stuff in there, change the abuse filter so you can say anything, and change actual money into 10x as much..

That's why that one server had a rollback (Oasis I think.)....People "duped" money through pk.2 editing....

Most people change appearence and not get banned, some change actual statistics and almost always get banned...

........ but only u see them and it doesnt affect the game at all, but hey placebo effect right?
