BLOCK RATIO on WEAPON, CRITICAL on SHIELD

I am just wondering if these two stats are attributed on the wrong equipment, would they have an effect?

I have a Shield with CRIT 18 and Sword with Block 35. But I dont feel any difference. My Blocks from my previous shield with Block Ratio +3 have more blocks. And I rarely do see any crits.

I have read somewhere here that having a Crit at 13-16 is good and they are satisfied with the performance.

on the shield i think its more about the crits you block, not
the more crits you hit with your sword.
as for the swords block.. not completely sure but probably
the same as the glaive's and spear's block. not really certain
about how that goes though

as for the swords block.. not completely sure but probably
the same as the glaive's and spear's block. not really certain
about how that goes though

A weapon that has a block means it can lower the chance of your opponent of blocking your attack.

same as shields, a critical on a shield means it can lower the chance of your opponent doing a critical on you

ok well idk if im correct or not but Crit on your Shield lower the chance of the person YOU are PvPing to crit you. thats wat crit on your shield is for.

Blocking ratio on ur weapon wat ive heard and wat i think boosts up defences to lessen the likely hood of being stunned. and blocking ratio and a shield is well yea.. how often you block the other persons attack.

now Crit on a weapon is totaly different. lets say u have a glavie with a crit of lets say 15. well the higher the crit % on a weapon is how hard and how often u can crit on a person.

I have BR 35 (+56%) on my spear. What is the reduce on the chances enemy will block.Is it like 35% reduce(for example if i fight a guy with a BR 15 shield, my BR 35 will make his shield act like some BR 10 shield or something?

Hard to tell, coz i have a sword br 100(100%) and it reduce all shield to the min br (10).
I my opinion, they calcul like this :
for ex, with a shield br 18(80%), my sword turns it to br 10(80-100%) => br 10(0%)

does br affect just the shields br lowering it to min or includes the passive when it lowers?

That's interesting, but don't know if it's entirely true. If it is, would it apply for the crit on the shield?
My current shield is crit 35. In theory, that would annihilate even a crit 10 bow, firing anti-devil Steel. However, that does not occur. Guy crits an average of one hit out of four on me.

Critical on a shield is how high your parry is boosted when someone criticals on you.

100 Critical on a Shield is like using a 1 sec Dodge Scroll everytime someone crits you.

Nobody really knows what Block Parry Ratio on Weapons are...but the overall opinion is that it reduces the chance to block.
