Can you use the name of a deleted character?

Hey, I deleted a character recently, since I didn't like the build that I made it. Every time I try to use the name, it says same ID exists, but the char is not in the selection. Will that name ever be usable?

Im not sure, but i think it takes a few weeks before you can
re use a character name. there is the option to un-delete your
character within a certain time isnt there? well, what if you want
to undelete it and have a char with that same name; thats not
possible.

so i think it takes as long as the time you have to undelete a char.

once a Character is deleted completely you can re-use the name straight away...

sorry, someone got to your name before you re-used it.

A friend had his account stolen and forgot his secret answer...
the Char was deleted

on deletion he re-used the name straight away.

Hmm, I was afraid of that. This isn't good, the char I deleted was xDyNaStYx, and my main just has another x on both sides. I messed up the first char, but never bothered to delete it. Now that I want to make another new char, I deleted it, so I can use that name again. Will be confusing with two people with very similar names, but different owners. Thanks for the replies.

seems an unlikely name to have been coincidently taken in such a short time tbh...

try Whispering / PMing them and see

or try again in a little while - just seems so unlikely...

My friends account was banned by the admins, for 100years lol

to help us delete it, as the thieves kept on canceling the deletion process each time we lost our conection to the account.

the deletion still took about 6 days to complete as per normal, just the account was barred to stop the deletion process from being canceled.

Once if u delete a characater ... its stay on ur account for 7 days ...
the name cannot be reused.. i have tried it after months .. it doesnt work

for me it does work
just wait the 7 days deletion time and i can use the same name agian
