how do u find out if those stupid merchants are lvl 1 or 2 or 3??????

if you mean 1* or multistar, you can just try to attack them

if you're not in a thief suit you can follow them and see how many thiefs they spawn..more then 1 will be most likely a multistar

A 1* spawns only 1 thief NPC, sometimes 2 thief's come up, but that is rare.

A 2* spawns always 2 thiefs.

A 3* spawns always 3 (or 4?) thiefs.

yah yyou can just follow them or stay in dowhang east gate and wait forr merchants to go, stay away from high lvl, and follow the low lvl ones, and see if you can take his theifs, if you can he is probaly not any harder. Harder but not that much.

most of them r 1 star, it depends on the theif it spawn,as Great_Master said, 1 for 1 star, 2 for 2 star, and so on......or u can just double click on them, a message will come out like "u can not actakc 1 star trade" or something like that if they r doing 1 star
