Catching a wolf?

While sp farming on tigers and whites, i can across a giant tiger.

So... i when on rage n killed it, then this happen. a lil floating thing labeled " wolf cub" appear.
My first reaction was that yay am gona get a pet.
So I was staring at it not knowing what to do. So.. i shot it, and few seconds later i died.
A player was nice enghout to res me but the wolf thingy was gone.

Questions- How do you catch a wolf?(if that was it) Do you just simply kill it?

no this aint pokemon, you cant capture/catch mobs

the wolf story from npc is just a story, you either go pay 1mil or grab ur credit card and pay

Well

it wasnt a wolf...at all . its called a "protector" and you can
by them in town from the NPC who sells alchemy items/PVP capes.

there used to kill bots (dont really work anymore). and for newbs to kill.
also they cant be killed, if you attack it you die
