Sword or Spear (Embodiment, answer please)

Hoi, I'm an int hybrid and I was wondering if I should switch to spear. 1 reason is because I don't do the best damage :S, and because I hear hybrid spears are good... Are they?

People I would like to answer: Embodiment, because he's int hybrid as well, but is now dual weapon :S.

Anyways... Spear or sword?

hybrid have more str points, so that means
they have more hp and more ph defense.
therefore, they can use the spear and still
be hard to kill.

pure int have the least str points, so they
need their shield to compensate the lack
of defense
