regarding pets

how many pets/mounts/caravan animals exactly are actually available to players? i know rabbits monkeys and white wolves can be bought with silk but ive always wondered what other kinds of pets there are. and also which pets/mounts/caravan animals disappear after you dismount and which ones stay?

Seowon, which look like squirrels, can also be bought with silk, and work the same way a monkey does. Gray wolves are available for in-game gold. Then there are vehicle/transport horses, camels, and a fire ox.

All item gathering pets from the item mall can be summoned and unsummoned as many times as you like, until their operation time runs out. Wolves stay forever, also. A vehicle pet is only available once. After you dismount it, it disappears. You can mount and dismount caravan animals as you please, and they will not disappear until you "dismiss" or "terminate" them.
