These are the four flags you could be talking about.

1a. Regular trader flag you buy from the merchant for 10,000.
1b. Trader flag you buy from npc for 1mil doesn't benefit you at all except for looks.
Both of these flags are used for trading.

2.Gold Dragon flag you could have received from the Thanksgiving event.
This has the exact same model as the 1mil trader flag except it has different colors(gold). It has nothing to do with trading and is worn in the optional slot for looks and it has +str and int.

3.Server flag under your name. You get this by going to editing your profile by typing in the server name into the Location space.

umm lol a gold flag is just for show and has 3str and 3 int, it has noting to do with trading or the whole triangular trade system. the flags u buy at the npc's are either trader, thief, and Hunter

its +2 for str and int
