Block ratio on weapons and Critical on shields

What Block ratio on weapons and Critical on shields really mean ? Beacause i think there is no +35 br to the shield or +40 critical to the weapon

...must be something else ...pls tell me :roll:

Block ratio on weapons means a chance to cancel out your opponent's block.

Critical ratio on shield means a chance to cancel your opponent's critical hit.

Not sure how it is calculated exactly though.

I believe 100% will result in a 50% chance for opponent. So If BR on a shield was 18 if the weap you are using has 100 block parry, it would act like a br 9 shield(if it existed)

so if i make a pvp with a player with a glaive or a bow my block ratio on the weapon wont work ...right ?

...conlcusion..a weapon with br can be used only against someone with a shield :?:

Yea, or a mob that has block like niya royal guards.

Also I have a question : Does it effect the passive of br?

The block ratio passive has no effect on the added stat of blocking ration on a weapon.
