i dont get it how does alchemy work.

Like how do i enhance an item could someone give me a rundown please. Where do i get elixers and stuff

and also is there a way i can show my helm if i have one of those wacky heads

Elixirs only come with drops, so you need to be lucky or you can buy them in people's stalls.
