1. What do I do with the jewel boxes? I've gone to So-Ok, and she didn't really say much...

2. What's the significance of elite monsters? I've only seen one in my playing experience, and it was the one I brutally slaughtered.

you take the boxes to so-ok and she gives you a reward, just click ok ok ok and then in your inventory you should have a bunch of stuff. maybe you are giving so-ok only 1 box at a time thats why you dont get much. try to give her 20 boxes at once.
