How do I change my characters name?

I have gone to the main silkroad site and tried, but I can't figure out how to actually change my characters name. I log in. Then I go to profile. Then I go to change characters name. I enter my location and the character I want changed yet it doesn't change it... Please Help. Thanks!

You can't change your character's IGN.

Once again JM doesn't explain it very well but when it says change character name, it means to change your forum name on silkroadonline.net to a specific IGN your using.
