That's how an undecided newbie looks like

Post by Shareen »

Hey everyone.
Started this game like 4 days ago, so far enjoying. Got to lvl 20, and now this is where the questions come. Already decided for future job, so no dilemmas with that. Character build is one big pain in the arse tho.
At first was thinking of a bowman, but still existing preferation and will for melee characters (no mages, I suck at that lol) made me change my mind.
Now I'm in a situation: blader or glavier. Glaviers impressed me for their big damage and long range etc, tho bladers countered with their block ability and the damage is not much of a difference compared to glavie.
So could someone help me decide, what character would be better PvP and PvE wise, like expenses and more job suitable and stuff like that. Appreciated.

Bladers are good in PvP because they can block the opponents Nuke (If that player is an INT player.), but Glavie guys normally level faster because of faster killing due to the massive damage. But don't take my word for it; this is just what I've heard.

Ok so lets say I go as a blader.
Maxing blade skill, having fire and cold as my forces and lightning for faster running. Would I still have enough masteries left to keep a bit on spear to have hp increase thingy, or it would make my main skills rather weaker?

You can add 4 skill trees to 69 (enough to learn any skill in the tree).
4x69=276
You will still have some points to add into some other skill trees.
However, it is not enough for you to max the increase hp skill of the spear tree.
My suggestion is, learn sword tree, ice tree, lightning tree and fire tree to 69. Then you can add any other thing you like. I suggest adding force to give yourself ability to heal. It help a bit when trying to earn money on green monsters.

If ur going pure strength blader, forget the ice, it wont help u much and will be a waste of sp. A lot of people become immune to ice, so that will be useless. But if u really want it then keep it, but if u want to be a hardcore player then i suggest u scrap it and use the sp for something else.
