I do not know if it's currently for sale at the item mall. I doubt it is, but just press "f10" and check for yourself

The avatar enables you to add 5 tributes to it by talking with the blacksmith. Some of the options are str increase, int increase, ignore monster defense, attack rate increase. There are more, but I bet you get the idea.
