Luck

Post by FourTwenty »

I'm always seeing avatars for sale with full +1% luck on the dress. Can somebody explain how luck works? Is the extra 4 percent a big difference? I have +5% luck increase from premium and 10% alchemy probability increase, so basically i'm wondering if adding the extra 4 points of luck would be worth it or should i just go str/5%dmg increase?

Thanks

There are 2 major typs of avatar layouts.

The battle avatar for maximum damage:
3% Ignore
5% damage

The Alchemy Avatar:
4% Luck.

The 4% luck does in fact help you quite a bit in alchemy. I noticed that people with the so called luck dresses get a +7 more easily then people without.
Even though prem++ Gives 10% already having 14% more luck is a huge benefit.

If you assume that every + has 50% of succeeding. Adding 14% more chances to add gives us the following figure.

+1
With: 0.64
Without: 0.5

+2
With: 0.4096
Without: 0.25

+3:
With: 0.262144
Without: 0.125

+4:
With: 0.16777
Without: 0.06125

+5:
With: 0.10737
Without: 0.030625

Thanks bud, that was exactly the kind of answer i was looking for.

What does ignore monster defense do?

Just curious, i spent my points on str :palm:

assuming i can't remove them and start over, ah well. now i know.

thanks again for the reply.

The monster ignore defense basicly allows you to hit a certain monster 2x harder.
(In fact you just ignore its defense and make the same hit as vs a mangyang, but it seems just a multiplier imo.)

So if you are hitting 50k you suddenly hit 100k. etc.
After doing some calculations the best option was 5% damage 3% ignore.
This gives you a total of 8.15% damage improve overall.
While 4 ignores only give you 8% (Not such a big difference, but it is nice to have that last 0.15%)

I prefer the 2% ignore, 5% dmg and attk rating. As a light nuker, that attk rating helps. Light sucks in consistent dmg.
