Computer problems with SRO
Hello,
I have a problem: Everytime when I log in in the game (sro of course) my pc crashs and he makes a reboot. Sometimes after 5 sec and sometimes after 1 min or 10 min. This problem only appears when Im in the game! Logging in or the selection of the char runs normaly.
I reinstalled the game and drivers but always the same problem.
Its weird because in other games my pc dont crash. Even in games with much more power needed.
So actually it must be a software error ... or not? :S
I googled and didnt find out something helpful...
Im happy about answer!
(SORRY FOR WRONG SECTION ! )
Best regards Klose

Re: Computer problems with SRO
Do you get a blue screen and then your computer restarts? Cause I had something similar, fixed it by completely cleaning all of the fans and coolers in my pc and pushing all of the components firmly into place... i probably had something a bit jumped out of the socket.

If all else fails, copy every important stuff to somewhere else and format the entire stuff again. I can't really think of anything else, sorry.

The best way out - is through.

Sorry I made a mistake ... there appears a blue screen. It says that the computer must shut down so that the computer wont be damaged ....

Ok, after those entries, look for one more that may look like this:
***win32k.sys - Address BF803880 base at BF800000, DateStamp 43446a58
That file may hold clues to why your PC is bluescreening.
It also wouldn't hurt to update your video drivers (or downgrade in some cases, older drivers sometimes fixed specific games).
Scan all drives for viruses, clean 'em up, run malwarebytes, spywareblaster etc. What's changedon the PC? Almost always, something changed. Something uninstalled, new apps installed, new drivers, new printer, etc. You really don't know whether it's hardware or software, and it may not have been recently. The change may even be "I started playing SRO again and I don't remember that it was problematic before".
If faith is a crutch, I'm not limping anymore.
